Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi sabha meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS), concluded between 19-20th march. The year-long work of Sangh was observed and decisions were made for next year’s Plan. Due to the global pandemic Kovid-19, there were no shakhas held from March to June last year, but the work of RSS continued. Volunteers conducted online training programs via using technology.
Along with this, volunteers became active throughout the country to help the society in Corona epidemic. They distributed ration, medicine and other essential materials on a large scale. To save lives of citizens, donated blood also.
The Sangh Shakhas that were postponed due to Corona infection have resumed from July-2020. In today’s situation, the Shakha work has come back to almost the previous position. About 90 percent of the Shakhas have been started across the country. In March-2020, 62 thousand 477 shakhas and about 29 thousand weekly meetings were going on at 38 thousand 913 places. As of March-21, 55 thousand 652 Shakhas and about 26 thousand weekly meetings have started at 34 thousand 569 places. In this way, direct association has regained its momentum.
In order to increase the physical Activities and to boost up Immunity of the volunteers, various competitions and activities of yoga, asanas were conducted in almost all the provinces with the help of virtual techniques. During the Corona period, volunteers worked through Sewa Bharati at 92 thousand 656 places across the country, more than 5 lakh 60 thousand workers were active.
The Kovid Center run volunteers in Pune was appreciated. Under the ‘Samarth Bharat punarabandhani’ scheme, a 237-bed Kovid Center was started in the hostel of Garware College, Pune. About 1600 Corona patients were cured here. More than 200 young men and women collaborated here. Such actions in pandemic, increased the trust of the society towards the RSS.
Extension of RSS work in villages:
The work of the Sangh has expanded in urban areas as well as in villages. The transformation of the village is being seen through undertakings like cow based traditional agriculture, harmonious life, common water source, a common crematorium for all and entry of all community to the temple in about 4000 villages. 20 thousand Corona warriors were honored in about 2500 villages.
Special work related to social harmony, family awareness and environment:
Due to the Corona , special work has been done on the issue of social harmony, family monitoring and environment. Efforts were made to bring the life introduction and work of great men who strive for harmony to the society. 65 thousand families participated in online program on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
Largest connectivity campaign For Ram mandir funds collection
On the call of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra, volunteers started a campaign for collection of funds. The society welcomed the campaign. RSS workers reached 5 lakh 45 thousand 737 places across the country and 12 crore 47 lakh 21 thousand families were contacted. More than 20 lakh volunteers engaged in the campaign.
In Madhya Pradesh, The volunteers Reached 88 percent of the families in 97 percent of the villages. 590 saints were participated in campaign along with 2,193 female and 28,348 male volunteers from Madhya Bharat Prant.
Proposal passed on Shri Ram temple and Kovid-19
Two important resolutions have been passed in the Pratinidhi sabha meeting. The first resolution was about the unanimous decision of the Supreme Court on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and then the formation of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra. while the second proposal was about the challenge of the global pandemic Kovid-19 and overall efforts of the Indian society to overcome the crisis. It says that India’s credibility in the whole world is increased in dealing with this crisis.
It has been also pointed out that we are not yet completely free from the crisis of Corona. Therefore, it is expected from the whole society to strictly follow the necessary guidelines of epidemics.
The expansion of RSS work in Madhya Bharat:
Nearly 89 percent of direct Shakhas have been started in Madhya Bharat Prant following the Corona Guidelines.More than 15 thousand volunteers conducted innovative project ‘Balagokulam’ at 2,044 places to educate childrens. In addition, online classes were organized for the training of volunteers on various subjects.
