Kerala Government has decided to resume the undergraduate and postgraduate classes early January next year. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today.
The classes will be conducted with a limited number of students following the strict Covid protocol. Classes will be arranged on a shift basis – morning and afternoon – as per the requirements. The online classes being conducted for the school and higher secondary students will continue.
In another significant move, it has been decided to conduct the SSLC and final-year Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations from March 17 to 30, 2021. Classes for those preparing for the practical exams of the SSLC and final-year Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary will begin January 1, 2021.
Model tests and counselling for students to avoid stress will be conducted at the school level. Students of Classes 10 and 12 may go to classes with the consent of their parents to take in-person lessons.
