Indian short movie “Moti Bagh” nominated for Oscars

A short movie made with the financial assistance from Prasar Bharati has been nominated for Oscars. The movie “Moti Bagh” revolving around the life and hard work of an octogenarian farmer from Uttarakhand has been directed a three time national award winner Nirmal Chandra Dandariyal.

‘Moti Bagh’ is the name of farm of the Octogenarian farmer which was set up in 1967. He has been putting in his hard work and efforts in Motibagh since then. It is the first film from Uttarakhand which will be showcased on a prestigious global platform like Oscars. The film was screened at India International Centre in New Delhi on Friday.
