Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Babulal Gaur died at the age of 89

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Babulal Gaur (89) died on Wednesday morning.Gaur was cremated with state honors. Gaur had been ill for a long time. A few days ago he was admitted to a private hospital in Bhopal. Gaur was having trouble breathing.  Apart from this many of his organs had stopped functioning. Gaur took charge of the state after Uma Bharti stepped down as chief minister in 2004. He was an MLA from South Bhopal and Govindpura seat
​​​​​​​for 10 consecutive terms from 1974 to 2013.
