Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Babulal Gaur (89) died on Wednesday morning.Gaur was cremated with state honors. Gaur had been ill for a long time. A few days ago he was admitted to a private hospital in Bhopal. Gaur was having trouble breathing. Apart from this many of his organs had stopped functioning. Gaur took charge of the state after Uma Bharti stepped down as chief minister in 2004. He was an MLA from South Bhopal and Govindpura seat
for 10 consecutive terms from 1974 to 2013.
Shri Babulal Gaur Ji served people for decades. From Jana Sangh days, he worked constantly to strengthen our Party. As Minister and CM of Madhya Pradesh he undertook many efforts to transform the state. Saddened his demise. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti.
